We are seeking a VP Power Origination. Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President will lead all aspects of negotiating PPAs and BTAs for standalone solar and storage projects. Customers include C&I, utilities, and municipalities.
Candidates must have 7-15 years of power origination experience. This is a newly created position; preferred candidates are entrepreneurial and with an extensive network.
- Identify distributed generation opportunities with utilities, C&I and municipalities.
- Negotiation of PPAs, VPPs, BTA, and other various structures with customer base.
- Assist with due diligence of project acquisitions and project viability.
- Evaluate requests for bids. Respond with pricing proposals, term sheets, and documentation to facilitate successful negotiations.
- Collaborate with CDO to strengthen pipeline in multiple markets.
- Build an origination team; create a duplicable RFP response process.
