Our client is a multi-billion dollar Wind Turbine OEM, in need of a Sales Manager to focus on establishing, maintaining, and building relationships with developers, Independent Power Producers, Utilities and other purchasers of wind turbines in Latin American market. These responsibilities include lead generation and filtration; quote preparation; and providing support in the negotiation of turbine supply agreements and service and maintenance agreements.

Responsibilities:

  • Canvassing the Latin American market to source independent power producer, independent developer, and utility customers of wind turbines;
  • Utilizing market knowledge to develop sales strategies and financial product offerings that utilize and maximize the value that our client can bring
  • Tracking customer and competitive intelligence, monitoring market trends, and tracking project developments;
  • Drafting quotations for and supporting negotiations of turbine supply agreements and operation & maintenance agreements;
  • Performing due diligence and negotiations for potential partnerships and acquisitions
  • Managing the after sales service to maintain customer satisfaction;
  • Representing voice of customer to communicate technical feedback internally
  • Driving improvement within a growing organization, adopting to dynamic market conditions;
  • Sharing your understanding of government policy and developing market specific commercial strategies;
  • Supporting senior sales staff based remotely to get resources from headquarters;
  • Representing our client at customer presentation meetings and conferences.

Requirements:

  • BS degree, Engineering or Business, MBA a plus
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience selling wind energy equipment
  • Familiar with the current wind energy trends in Latin America
  • Fluency in Spanish is a must
  • Professional network includes access to decision makers at active wind turbine purchasers
  • Solid understanding of project financing environment, including project level equity investments, tax equity and debt financing
