We are representing an independent power producer seeking a Project Finance Manager. The role will lead complex structured transactions and financing on wind, solar, storage, and repowering projects.
The preferred candidate has recently spent 3-5 years on an IPP’s project finance team. Experience financing repowering is preferred but not mandatory.
- Lead project finance transactional activities on assigned projects, including understanding and negotiating tax equity agreements, end-to-end management of financing transactions, the financial and credit aspects of PPAs, term sheets, and other financial documents.
- Create models for tax equity, debt financing, merchant curve analysis.
- Collaborate with team members on financial models including review of capital expenditures, operating costs, energy price curves for wind and solar production, and battery dispatch models.
- Provide guidance on financial models, analysis of financial impacts, and help manage relationships with third-party financiers.
- Coordinate with development, M&A, and power marketing teams.
