We are seeking a Manager, Commercial Grid Analytics to lead transmission analytics in multiple markets for renewable energy and standalone storage assets.
The preferred candidate has 5-15 years of supporting commercial activities by providing in-depth grid analysis. Candidates must have strong modeling skills, an advanced understanding multiple markets especially CAISO and ERCOT, and have supported commercial activities within power generation.
- Produce nodal locational marginal pricing for several independent system operators for day-to-day, day ahead, and real time power market operations.
- Subject matter expert on evaluating potential project sites based on load flow modeling and long-term production cost forecasting.
- Perform forward-looking congestion analysis, including developing and maintaining models for forecasting nodal, zonal, and hub level prices in key markets.
- Develop market outlooks for storage and power generation projects by providing nodal analytics and power flow models. Communicate these findings to commercial teams and other internal stakeholders.
