HEI Search is representing a large IPP that is seeking a Director of Development, Wind / Solar. The Director will be responsible for a region’s strategy and execution of deal origination, M&A, and greenfield development.
Successful candidates will possess 10+ years of Commercial and/or Project Development experience in wind and solar utility scale projects.
Responsibilities also include:
- Manage a cross functional team
- Implementation of Development Strategy
- Deal Origination, PPA Negotiation
- Due Diligence on acquisition targets
- Set Operational Objectives
- Governmental Affairs, Regulatory Affairs
- Provide Strategy, Market Intelligence
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 10 – 15 years of experience in utility scale wind and solar project development
- Strong Negotiation Skills
- Experience leading financial evaluations, economics, planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial statements, company evaluations, balance sheets and cash flow expertise
