We are seeking a highly techical engineer to lead execution across large-scale digital infrastructure platforms. The Director of Engineering will oversee engineering design, vendor management, and project delivery for data centers, fiber networks, and supporting power systems. The Director will ensure projects meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and compliance while advancing from concept through operational handover.
- Manage third-party engineering vendors and consultants to deliver design packages for multi-phase data center campuses.
- Oversee engineering deliverables across civil, mechanical, electrical, and structural disciplines, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Coordinate with EPC partners on design and constructability reviews, budget adherence, and technical risk mitigation.
- Support power delivery engineering for substations, interconnection, and on-site distribution systems tied to data center operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and permitting requirements.
- Work closely with development, procurement, and construction teams to integrate engineering deliverables into overall project schedules.
- Partner with the telecom and fiber infrastructure teams to align trenching, routing, and connectivity requirements with campus design.
- Provide technical input during site selection, land acquisition, and utility planning.
Requirements:
- 10 – 15 years of engineering and project execution experience, ideally in data centers, telecom infrastructure, or utility-scale power delivery supporting digital platforms.
- Proven track record managing multidisciplinary engineering teams and third-party EPCs on large capital projects.
- Strong knowledge of data center design standards, critical power systems, and fiber infrastructure.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
