Our client is an equipment manufacture with record breaking sales. Reporting to the President, the COO will be responsible for creating a new business unit solely focused on post-sale execution, implementation, operations and maintenance of utility scale power equipment. We are seeking a renewable energy executive within engineering, construction or operations.
Candidates must have strong client facing skills and a bench of EPC contractors and vendors to employ. The COO and his/her team are accountable for all things related to project execution, including: project engineering, construction, quality control, cost control, scheduling, health & safety, fulfilling project design requirements, and timely project delivery. Only candidates residing in leadership roles will be considered.
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is a must. Those with 15 years of power generation, project engineering, construction or operations are encouraged to apply. Renewable energy experience is not a requirement, however utility-scale power generation is a must. Candidates will be required to relocate to corporate headquarters, in which case a relocation package will be provided.
