We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer to lead the EPC functions for an IPP. Reporting to the CEO, the COO will lead the following teams: execution, design engineering, and O&M.
The preferred candidate has 15+ years of renewable energy project execution and delivery experience, preferably from a renewable energy owner/operator. Candidates must have successfully delivered renewable power projects, led EPC, third parties, and O&M. Multiple market experience is a must, especially NYISO, MISO, PJM, and ISONE
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of EPC and O&M professionals. Expand team as needed.
- Enhance delivery operations such as project design, equipment procurement methods, subcontractor selection, equipment supply negotiations, construction management, and continuous O&M execution.
- Improve performance, reporting, and project management KPIs.
- Support finance team during construction financing, debt and tax equity financing, and support colleagues with third-party investors.
