The Manager is responsible for negotiating tolling agreements and other commercial terms with IPPs and BESS owners. Experience with multiple power markets such as ERCOT, CAISO, and bi-lateral markets is preferred.
Candidates must have spent the past 2 years within battery storage in a development, asset management, or trading function. BESS project developers, engineers, asset managers, traders, or power marketers are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Managing key accounts, structure bespoke commercial transactions, utilize cross-functional deal teams in closing transactions. Structure and negotiate tolling agreements and other commercial contracts.
- Utilize your knowledge of battery storage systems to facilitate effective commercial terms, respond to RFPs, create business proposals, and mitigate risks.
- Develop new business by building a network of utility scale independent power producers and battery storage operators.
- Manage deal structure and pricing to match commercial goals. Negotiate price for bids and proposals. Utilize internal resources to respond with pricing proposals, term sheets, and documentation to facilitate closings.
