We are seeking a EVP Market Analytics. Reporting to the CEO, the EVP will lead all aspects research and data analytics for BESS wholesale market participation in multiple ISOs. Preferred candidates have 15-20 years of experience within power trading analytics.
Responsibilities:
- Provide data driven fundamental analysis to commercial team on price and structured transactions. Provide actionable data to drive trading strategies in multiple ISOs.
- Collaborate with DevCo on framework for evaluating future project sites.
- Develop and maintain models for forecasting nodal, zonal, and hub level prices in key markets. ISO reporting tools.
- Advise on effective hedging strategies and risk management.
- Develop and manage AIML tools to produce short term price forecasts to inform bidding and dispatch decisions.
