Jen Young is joining renewable energy recruiting firm Joe Amara Executive Search. Jen has spent 13+ years in the utility industry in various roles spanning several technologies including thermal, nuclear, and renewables.
Most recently Jen served as Vice President of Human Resources at a battery storage company, Powin Energy. During her time at Powin, Jen grew the employee base from 40 to 140 in just under a year and a half. As a result, Jen possesses unique insight into today’s fast-moving, rapidly changing, and ever-competitive renewable energy recruiting landscape.
Prior to joining Powin, Jen held several positions with PacifiCorp, including FERC, NERC, and NERC CIP compliance roles to assist with providing efficient, safe, reliable, and secure energy for consumers. Jen also worked in the legal groups at PacifiCorp (hydroelectric) and NuScale Power.
Having relied on them herself, Jen understands the value of a knowledgeable recruiter and how they can provide the building blocks essential to success. In her new role, Jen is excited to partner with companies to help find their perfect match.
